We can’t wait to hear YOUR stories…Come to the Calgary Story Slam for a lively night of story slamming and a chance to tell your tales! Here’s how it works: You come to either listen, judge or to tell a story. Anyone can tell a story! Storytellers: come prepared to tell one 5 minute story on the theme of FIRST LOVE or DATING. All stories must be (mostly) true and about you. In other words, 1st person narrative. Also, there should be no notes or reading are aloud—we like to keep it real. Judges will be randomly picked on the night of the slam. May the best teller win…a $50 gift certificate to Shelf Life Books!
