Sheri-D Wilson will join the faculty of the Amplify Spoken Word Intensive 2026, a ten-day immersion co-produced by Stage to Page Performance Society, Vancouver Poetry House, and Historic Joy Kogawa House, with support from the Calgary Spoken Word Society and others. This year’s theme, Endurance, explores long-form poetics, embodied performance, and the rituals that sustain a poet’s career.
A selected cohort will write, rehearse, and develop new work alongside a remarkable faculty, with many workshops and lectures open to the public. It’s spoken word as a lifelong practice—craft, community, and staying power.
